Week 3 Wrap up

What you learned:

  • Photography during the atomic age reflected the mentality of society as a whole that we are affected by forces that we cannot see in the world
  • That conceptual photography pushed the boundaries and limitations of photography and could allow for people to change the landscape of art by using performative based art rather than making beautiful collectibles. 
  • People were using photography as a means of making statements about their own experiences in the late 80s and early 90s.
