Lesson - Grading Assignments

Overall Grading Criteria 

The course grade will be determined by the student’s performance on the following:

• Writing & Problem Solving -Assignments 20%
• Objective Examinations - Quizzes 50%
• Other Methods of Evaluation - Discussions 30%

Assignment Grading Rubric:

A rubric is a grading tool that explicitly represents the performance expectations for an writing assignment, math problem assignment or discussion assignment. A rubric divides the assigned work into criteria descriptions that is weighted and expectations of work meet that is then weighted per that percentage of each criteria description. There are three different Rubric could be used throughout this course, depending on what type of assignment.
