In this course we will be using the following book:

Studying Engineering: A Roadmap to a Rewarding Career. 4th Edition, Landis, Raymond B., Discover Press, 2013, ISBN # 978-0-9793487-4-7.

* You can find the book at Gavilan's Bookstore or you can buy it online.

* I understand some students will not have access to the textbook on the 1st week of class. For that reason I will be posting the prologue, chapter 1 and chapter 2 of the book.

Canvas

We will be using Canvas for this course, so you will need access to a computer and Internet. Canvas is also mobile-friendly and can be used on your phone or tablet through the Canvas Mobile App or a mobile browser!

Software

Word Processor: You will need to be able to create documents. All students at Gavilan College have access to Google Docs through their student email. Log into Banner to access your student email and G Suite.
PDF Reader: You will need to be able to view PDFs for this class. You can download a free PDF reader here, if you don't have one already on your computer: Adobe Reader
